It was a day to remember with over 50 children and their families attending the 2nd Annual Franklin Square Park Easter Egg Hunt. Co-hosts Trumark Urban and Friends of Franklin Square offered refreshments, Johnny Doughnuts and face painting.

By 10:00am the park was scattered with eggs hidden under leaves, between branches, under slides and around the perimeter of the park. As the countdown began everyone could all feel the kids’ excitement.

The event also introduced a grant proposal to improve Franklin Square by adding a new fenced in dog play area with improvements to the fitness path.
